Since I tried this 10 minutes ago, and the upload decided to shoot itself in the foot with a rocket launcher and just died on me, I'll try again with pics that are smaller than 6.5mb each. I took these pictures with Mike's camera (Canon 50D.) It's a DSLR, which, actually, has grabbed my interest. It's higher quality digital photography and such, and apparently, I'm becoming a semi-amateur photographer. I call myself that because I'm just barely scratching the surface of being an amateur.

Me on top of something I climbed (Mike took this, obviously. I have a few more, but this one shows how big the thing is) I'm the yellowish thing near the top:

Um, what dam?
I'm assuming there is a back way up that "something" that you climbed!! ?
Wow!
This comment section is very finicky, Trent! I tried three times to post and it rejected it each time in Firefox. So I tried the IE and it took it on the second try. Now I'm back in Firefox to see what will happen.....Nope! wouldn't take it in Firefox! Now I'm back in IE to see if the last time was just a fluke!
OK, it posts in IE but on the 2nd try each time!! First time it tells me my request could not be processed and to try again. I try again and it takes it!
It wasn't me, it was the one-armed man!
Actually, I have no idea why there's problems with it - I'm using a default template and nothing special beyond it.
I haven't had any problem posting from Firefox, so this is a real mystery.
I love this post, especially the pictures. My legs are hurting just thinking of climbing up where you are, Trent!
A back way up that rock, Trent? Is there?
The climb is a secret. We were guessing that the side I was standing by was 70-80ft tall.
I have pictures of the dam I'll post later on, eventually, something. Later this next week probably. I'm up to ~3.5gb of pictures that I've taken. It's almost a full DVD worth now.
Hmmm... all is not as it seems! Have fun hiking tomorrow. We will expect your pictures after awhile.
Now if this comment posts through IE I shall reload my firefox!
OK. I made an identical blog to yours and found the problem to be in how the comments show up. I have no idea why your Mom can access it through Firefox and I can't! I removed FF from my system completely, downloaded the most up to date version and reinstalled it -- exactly the same. The problem remains and is the same with the blog I created like yours.
But it worked when I changed the options (under the settings/comments/comment form placement) to show comments in a pop-up window.
It sounds like you may have solved the problem! Today Trent and Mike are hiking. The have gone to Gem Lake, I think, but will be back late today, and I'm sure he will see your comments then. It must be a flaw in the template somewhere, although it is really strange that never once have I had a conflict with it. Is there a different Canadian versus U.S. version of Firefox, I wonder?
